Dhaka, March 15 -- Mr. Kayesh Chowdhury has joined Bank Asia PLC as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) and Zonal Head - Chattogram, effective from 11 March 2026.

Prior to joining Bank Asia PLC, he served BRAC Bank as Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Regional Corporate. He brings with him extensive experience in strategic leadership, governance, credit risk management, and business transformation, with a particular focus on the Chattogram Division, according to a press release.

Mr. Chowdhury began his banking career in 1993 with UCB and subsequently held leadership positions at Dhaka Bank, Bank Asia, Dutch-Bangla Bank, and City Bank.
