Dhaka, May 16 -- The grand inauguration of the 289th branch of Karmasangsthan Bank in Tongibari, Munshiganj, was held on May 16, 2026.

The function was organized at the conference room of the Institute of Marine Technology, Tongibari under the chairmanship of Karmasangsthan Bank Chairman and former Secretary Dr. AFM Matiur Rahman and was graced by the Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, A B M Abdus Sattar as the chief guest, according to a media release.
