Dhaka, May 9 -- Jahangirnagar University Central Students' Union (JUCSU) Vice President Abdur Rashid Jitu, along with leaders of various hall student unions, has paid tributes to former President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.

They visited Zia Udyan in the capital on Friday morning and placed wreaths at their graves, offering special prayers and seeking forgiveness for the departed leaders.

Among others, Kamal Uddin Hall Students' Union Vice President GMM Rayan Kabir and Shaheed Rafiq-Jabbar Hall Students' Union General Secretary Shariful Islam, along with leaders from various hall student unions, accompanied the Vice President.
