Dhaka, March 1 -- The central body of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) has served a show-cause notice on Sheikh Tanvir Bari Hamim, convener of Kabi Jasimuddin Hall unit at Dhaka University (DU, on charges of violating organisational discipline.

The notice was issued on Friday night through a press release signed by the organisation's Office Secretary, Md. Jahangir Alam.

According to the notice, Hamim has been asked to appear at the JCD central office within 24 hours and submit a written explanation in the presence of the organisation's President and General Secretary.
