Dhaka, March 16 -- Dhaka South City Corporation Administrator Abdus Salam said all preparations have been completed at the Jatiya Eidgah on the Supreme Court premises to hold the capital's main Eid-ul-Fitr

congregation at 8:30am on Eid day.

"All preparations have been completed at the Jatiya Eidgah for offering Eid-ul-Fitr prayers. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will offer Eid prayers at the Jatiya Eidgah this year. Around 35,000 devotees will be able to perform prayers at the venue," he said while talking to newsmen after inspecting

preparations for the Eid congregation at the venue, BSS reports.

Abdus Salam further said that the main congregation will be held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in case of inclement weather.
