Bangladesh, Sept. 23 -- Invest Bangladesh has reported significant progress under its 180-day investment plan, with the country's prospective investment pipeline reaching $1.3 billion.

Of these, more than $400 million has moved to the investment-decision or implementation stage, it said in a statement on Tuesday on its 180-day investment plan unveiled in March this year.

Invest Bangladesh was formed through the merger of three former government agencies namely the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), the Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) and the Public-Private Partnership Authority (PPPA).
