Bangladesh, Oct. 8 -- IFIC Bank PLC is exploring a new financing model to help Bangladesh's farmers, agri-businesses and exporters meet international standards and expand agricultural exports, particularly to the European Union (EU), the UK, the Middle East and Asia.

The initiative is being developed in partnership with Swisscontact under a project aimed at improving sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) compliance and export competitiveness in Bangladesh's vegetable sector.
