Bangladesh, Oct. 7 -- Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Faqir Mahbub Anam has called for greater trust, institutional capacity and international cooperation in the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the public sector.

"Ensuring that today's digital divide does not become tomorrow's AI divide is our commitment," he said while addressing the opening session of the two-day interregional conference AI Governance in Practice: Practical Use Cases, Institutional Capacity, Innovation at Scale and Global Cooperation in Istanbul on Tuesday.
