Bangladesh, Aug. 26 -- The state-run Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) continues to grapple with a heavy legal burden as 316 cases involving more than Tk 28.13 billion remain pending before various courts as of the end of July, according to its latest monthly report.

Advertisement The report, which uses the 2026-27 fiscal year as its reference period, reveals that the ICB carried forward 313 cases from June. And during July, five new cases involving Tk 6.9 million were filed, while only two cases involving Tk 6.0 million were disposed of. This left ICB with a total of 316 pending cases at the end of the month.
