Dhaka, April 20 -- Hassan O. Rashid has taken charge as the Managing Director of Eastern Bank PLC. (EBL). Prior to joining EBL, Mr. Hassan served as the Chief Executive Officer of Prime Bank PLC.

With over 31 years of professional experience across both local and multinational banks, he brings a wealth of leadership expertise spanning diverse banking domains. He held senior leadership roles at Credit Agricole Indosuez, HSBC, and Standard Chartered Bank, according to a media release.
