Gross forex reserves cross $37b mark
Bangladesh, Aug. 13 -- Bangladesh's gross foreign-exchange reserves rose slightly to $37.066 billion on Wednesday mainly due to remittance inflow, according to the latest data released by Bangladesh Bank on the day.

Under the International Monetary Fund's BPM6 accounting method, the country's gross reserves stood at $32.26 billion on the day.
The gross reserves were $36.96 billion on Monday (August 10), while the reserves under the BPM6 method stood at $32.15 billion.
The gross reserves increased by around $106 million in two days.
