Dhaka, June 29 -- Grameen Communications and Japan-based Wick Co. Ltd. have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly develop SPARK, a digital platform aimed at connecting Bangladeshis at home and abroad through technology, skills development, employment opportunities and financial inclusion.

The MoU was signed on the sidelines of the second day of Social Business Day 2026, according to a press release.

The agreement was signed by Yoshikane Nakamichi, Representative Director of Wick Co. Ltd., and Feroz Mahmud, Managing Director of Grameen Communications.
