Bangladesh, Oct. 14 -- Dr. Rudiger Lotz, Ambassador of Germany to Bangladesh, visited the factories of AKIJ Cement Company Limited and AKIJ Essentials Limited, two entities under country's leading business conglomerate AKIJ Resource, in Narayanganj on Tuesday (13 October) to explore opportunities for strengthening bilateral trade relations and expanding industrial cooperation between Bangladesh and Germany.

During the visit, the ambassador and his delegation toured the two manufacturing facilities and gained insights into their production processes, quality control systems and industrial operations, according to a media release.
