Dhaka, April 21 -- Gas supply has fallen by around 400 million cubic feet per day after one floating terminal supplying regasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG) shut down due to technical problems, according to Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution.
In an emergency notice on Tuesday, the company said gas pressure would drop across its network, including in Gazaria, Meghna Ghat, Sonargaon, Narayanganj and the southern part of Dhaka.
"Gas supply has decreased by about 400 MMCFD due to the shutdown of one FSRU (Floating Storage and Regasification Unit) for RLNG supply for technical reasons," Titas said in the notice.
