Bangladesh, Aug. 3 -- A. S. M. Feroz Alam and Md. Abdul Hannan, MP, have been elected vice chairmen of the Board of Directors of Mercantile Bank PLC in its 490th board meeting held at the bank's head office recently.
Feroz Alam is a renowned businessman and Managing Director of Bengal Trading Ltd (Tokyo). He is Sponsor Director of the bank and chairman of Mercantile Bank Securities Limited (MBSL), says a press release.
He is also a Sponsor and former Chairman of Premier Leasing and Finance Limited and founder of Saheda Gafur Ibrahim General Hospital in Patuakhali. Besides, he is involved in financial services and many other businesses at home and abroad.
