FBCCI calls for joint investment to narrow China-BD trade gap
Bangladesh, Aug. 18 -- The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) has called for greater direct engagement between businesses of Bangladesh and China and joint investment in promising sectors to help reduce the trade gap between the two countries.

FBCCI Administrator Md Fazlul Hoque made the call at a meeting with a Chinese business delegation from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) at the FBCCI office in Motijheel on Monday.
Mr Hoque said Bangladesh imports a large volume of goods from China, as it does from many other countries.
