Dhaka, March 10 -- The Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) has decided to keep its Textile Division open during Eid-ul-Fitr holidays to ensure uninterrupted services for the apparel sector.

In response to a request from the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), it will keep the division open to facilitate export-oriented activities during the festival.

The office would remain open on March 17, 18, and 19 from 11:00am to 2:00pm, a circular said.

An official said the move was seen as a proactive step to help exporters meet their shipment deadlines and maintain the momentum in the country's largest export-earning sector during the holiday.
