Dhaka, May 18 -- The holy Eid-ul-Azha, one of the biggest religious festivals of the Muslims, will be celebrated across the country on May 28 as the moon of Zilhaj was sighted in Bangladesh on Monday.

The National Moon Sighting Committee took the decision at a meeting at the Islamic Foundation on Monday evening. Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain Kaikobad presided over the meeting.
