Dhaka, June 4 -- Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) marked World Environment Day 2026 by organising an interactive session titled "Leaders Driving Sustainable Change" at its head office in Dhaka.

According to a press release, EBL reiterated its commitment to sustainable banking practices and environmental responsibility through the initiative.

Held in line with this year's global theme, "Inspired by Nature, For Climate, For Our Future," the programme brought together leading voices from the business, development, and sustainability sectors to discuss the role of institutions in advancing a more sustainable and climate-resilient future.
