Dhaka, March 1 -- Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) and Jatiya Chhatra Shakti (JCS) on Saturday staged demonstrations, protesting activities of the banned organisation Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) on the Dhaka University (DU) campus.

The two student platforms claimed that posters of BCL were found pasted at several locations on the campus on Friday night. The posters read: 'Unconditional release of all political prisoners of Bangladesh Chhatra League.'

In response, DUCSU leaders gathered in front of the Proctor's office, chanting protest slogans and demanding that the university administration review CCTV footage within 24 hours, identify those responsible, and take legal action.
