Dhaka, April 14 -- The historic Baishakhi procession ushering in the Bangla New Year was brought out from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Dhaka at 9:00 am on Tuesday, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere across the campus.
The procession started from the third gate of the Faculty of Fine Arts and moved towards Doyel Chattar, passing the Raju Memorial Sculpture and Bangla Academy, before returning to the faculty along the same route.
A police contingent led the procession, followed by a group of Dhaka University students carrying the national flag.
