The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) opened the day's session with a positive note and the DSE broad index DSEX continued an upward trend for more than half an hour.

After losing some points during mid-session, the DSEX again exhibited an upward trend until closure.

At the end of the session, the DSEX settled at 5,341 points, with a rise of 1 per cent, or 57 points.
