Bangladesh, Sept. 17 -- The benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) extended its recovery for the third consecutive session on Thursday, driven by broad-based buying interest as investors remained active despite concerns over geopolitical tensions in the Gulf region.

The DSEX, the broad index of the DSE, gained 38.1 points to settle at 5,532, compared with 5,494 points in the previous trading session, reports BSS.
