Dhaka prepares 5yr trade capacity plan
Bangladesh, July 20 -- A new five-year action plan is being framed to strengthen Bangladesh's trade capacity, improve the investment climate and enhance global competitiveness as the country prepares for graduating out of the world's poor-country club.

Exit from the least-developed country (LDC) category is set to expose Bangladesh to open competition on the international market for the forfeiture of duty-free -market access facility.
The capacity-building recipe will be implemented through the Country Programme Document (CPD) prepared for the third phase of the Enhanced Integrated Framework (EIF), a World Trade Organisation (WTO)-led programme that supports trade-capacity development in LDCs.
