Bangladesh, Sept. 16 -- Dhaka Bank PLC has launched 'Dhaka Pay,' a QR-based cashless payment service, in the northern region of Bangladesh to make cashless transactions easier, faster and more secure.

Advertisement The service was formally launched on 10 September 2026 at a programme held in Eque Heritage Resort, Nilphamari, where QR codes of 'Dhaka Pay' were distributed among business leaders from different districts of the northern region.

Through 'Dhaka Pay', customers can conveniently pay for products and services by scanning QR codes, says a media release.

Dhaka Bank customers will also be able to make digital transactions with customers of other banks, further facilitating seamless cashless payments, it said.
