Bangladesh, Aug. 3 -- The mismatch between the demand for skilled workers and the supply of trained manpower remains a major challenge for Bangladesh's employment sector, said Dr Md Abdul Karim, Executive Director of UCEP Bangladesh.

Speaking at a roundtable titled "Linking Skills with Employment: Challenges and Way Forward", organised by The Financial Express (FE), in association with PKSF, Dr Karim said training programmes often fail to reflect industry requirements as industry representatives are not adequately involved in curriculum development.
