Bangladesh, Oct. 15 -- The first meeting of the Shari'ah Supervisory Committee of 'Community Islamic', the Islamic banking wing of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC, was held on Wednesday afternoon at the Bank's Head Office in the capital.

The meeting was chaired by Mufti Abdullah Masum, Chairman of the Shari'ah Supervisory Committee of Community Islamic, according to a press release.

Mohammed Emtiaz Uddin, Managing Director of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC, was also present at the meeting.
