Bangladesh, Aug. 3 -- Bangladesh must accelerate the transition to a circular economy to turn plastic waste into valuable industrial resources, unlock billions of dollars in export opportunities and meet increasingly stringent global sustainability standards, speakers said at a policy dialogue on Sunday.

The observations were made at the fifth meeting of the Sustainability and Green Growth Working Committee (SGGWC), jointly organised by Business Initiative Leading Development (BUILD) and the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) at the ministry.
