Dhaka, May 20 -- CHATTOGRAM, May 19: The long-awaited election of the board of directors of the Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) for the 2025-27 term will now be held on May 23.

Director of the Local Government Department in Chattogram and Chairman of the Election Board Monowara Begum announced the fresh schedule.

Earlier, the election was slated for April 4, but it was suspended due to "unavoidable reasons."

On September 2 in 2024, the committee of CCCI resigned. All 24 directors of CCCI, including President Omar Hajjaz, submitted the resignation letters to the ministry.
