Dhaka, April 15 -- The Cabinet Division has requested all government offices to conduct meetings and other official programmes through virtual platforms in a bid to save fuel amid global energy situation.

In a circular issued on April 12 and signed by Deputy Secretary Md Mamun of the Field Administration Coordination Branch, the Cabinet Division said it is necessary to ensure uninterrupted and effective government activities as well as conserving fuel resources, BSS reports.

The circular was sent to all secretaries, senior secretaries, Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners and Upazila Nirbahi Officers concerned.
