Dhaka, May 7 -- The Bangladesh Textile Mills Association and CottonConnect Limited (CCUK) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Wednesday, at the BTMA office in Dhaka's Gulshan to promote domestic cotton production, develop a sustainable and traceable cotton supply chain, and strengthen market linkages for locally produced cotton.
The meeting was led by Showkat Aziz Russell, president of BTMA, while the CCUK delegation was headed by Alison Ward, chief executive officer of CottonConnect Limited, said a press release on Thursday.
