Bangladesh, July 27 -- BRAC Bank has set a target of facilitating US$9 billion in international trade transactions in 2026 after achieving a record US$7.3 billion in 2025, as it pushes to become Bangladesh's largest trade bank.

The bank has already facilitated US$4.52 billion in trade transactions during the first half of 2026, maintaining strong growth momentum. It also crossed the US$ 1 billion mark in trade volume in a single month for the first time, reflecting its expanding role in supporting the country's external trade.

The latest performance extends a steady upward trend over the past five years. BRAC Bank's trade volume rose from US$2.8 billion in 2021 to US$3.6 billion in 2022, US$ 4.3 billion in 2023, US$5.6 billion in 2024,...
