Dhaka, Feb. 26 -- Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) on Thursday accorded a reception to its members who have been elected ministers, state ministers and Members of the Parliament in the 13th National Election.

A total of 17 members--three ministers, three state ministers and one adviser to the Prime Minister and the rest are MPs from the readymade garment sector.

BGMEA organised the reception programme, followed by an iftar programme at the Army Golf Club in the city.

Three ministers from the sector are Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroza Khanam, Housing and Public Works Minister Zakaria Taher and Commerce, Industries, Textile and Jute Minister Khandaker Abdul Muktadir.
