Dhaka, Feb. 27 -- Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) on Thursday accorded a reception to its members who have been elected members of parliament in the 13th national election.

A total of 17 members from the readymade garment sector, including three ministers, three state ministers and one adviser to the Prime Minister, were honoured.

The BGMEA organised the reception programme followed by an iftar party at Army Golf Club in the city.

The three ministers are Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroza Khanam, Housing and Public Works Minister Zakaria Taher and Commerce, Industries and Textile and Jute Minister Khandaker Abdul Muktadir.
