Dhaka, May 18 -- The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has increased the price of furnace oil at the consumer level, setting it at Tk 113.54 per litre, again.

The new price will come into effect from midnight on Monday, according to a notification issued by the energy regulator on Monday.

On April 12, the BERC had increased the furnace oil price from Tk 70.10 to Tk 94.69.
