BD mission in UN asked to garner global support
Bangladesh, Sept. 8 -- The Permanent Mission of Bangladesh to the United Nations has been asked to intensify efforts to garner global support for getting passed the proposed delay of the country's graduation from the least developed countries (LDCs) group by three years.

The instruction was given on Monday at a meeting of the National Graduation Monitoring and Coordination Committee, chaired by Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury at Bangladesh Secretariat, officials said.
The meeting was told that the approval for the proposed delay may be given at the next United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) slated for late September.
