Bangladesh, Sept. 9 -- Bangladesh Reconditioned Vehicles Importers and Dealers Association (BARVIDA) has sharply reacted to the dropping of the provision for importing reconditioned electric vehicles in the import policy, alleging that despite an agreement in this connection, a ban has been imposed to satisfy a quarter.

Advertisement Demanding withdrawal of the provision at a press conference at Dhaka Club on Wednesday, BARVIDA leaders said it was agreed at the discussion level to allow seven-year-old reconditioned or used EV vehicles, against their claim of 10 years, as Japanese EV cars are standard.
