Dhaka, March 4 -- Bank Asia PLC observed 'Financial Literacy Day-2026' on March 2, 2026, by organising a series of initiatives in line with the directives of Bangladesh Bank, according to a press release.

To mark the occasion, the bank arranged a nationwide virtual meeting with its officials. Managing Director Mr. Sohail R K Hussain addressed the program as the key speaker. The session was presided over by Deputy Managing Director (Head of Agent Banking & CRM) Mr. Ziaul Hasan.

As part of the day-long observance, the bank organized special financial literacy programs for remittance customers in the districts of Chattogram, Feni, Cumilla, Narayanganj, Narsingdi, and Tangail under a UNCDF-funded project. The initiative aims to enhance awar...
