Dhaka, May 19 -- A new executive committee of the Bangladesh Society for Head-Neck Surgeons was announced at a meeting held recently in the conference room of NIENT in Tejgaon, Dhaka.

The meeting was chaired by Professor Dr Md Abdus Sattar and moderated by Professor Dr M Ashequr Rahman Bhuiyan, according to a press release received Tuesday.

During the meeting, the members unanimously decided to form a new executive committee to overcome long-standing organisational stagnation, make the society more dynamic and strengthen academic and organisational ties with international head-neck organisations.
