Bangladesh, Sept. 2 -- US President Donald Trump has told Prime Minister Tarique Rahman that he believes Bangladesh and its people have a "very bright future" under the premier's leadership and that he looks forward to meeting the latter soon.

Advertisement Trump's praise comes in a letter to Tarique in appreciation for his government's decision to buy Boeing aircraft from the United States under an umbrella trade deal signed between the two countries.

Trump letter also carries reassurances that the US aircraft manufacturer "will not let you down" and that he would not forget Dhaka's decision.
