Bangladesh, Sept. 25 -- A Dhaka money loan court has issued arrest warrants against the chief executive officer, acting chief financial officer and three directors of Pacific Bangladesh Telecom Ltd (PBTL), the operator of the defunct Citycell brand, in a loan-recovery case filed by Mutual Trust Bank (MTB) PLC.

Advertisement The Money Loan Court No. 7, Dhaka passed the order on Wednesday, directing Gulshan Police Station to arrest the five high-ups and produce them before the court by November 18, 2026, according to court documents.

The accused are: Citycell CEO Mehboob Chowdhury, acting Chief Financial Officer Md Farikul Hasan, and directors Md Morshed, Asghar Karim and Nasreen Khan.
