Bangladesh, Oct. 14 -- The government has reconstituted the evaluation committee responsible for reviewing and assessing proposals to appoint developers for economic zones (EZs) in partnership with other country or state organisations across the country.

The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) issued a gazette notification on October 08 to this effect as per the Rule 10 of the Bangladesh Economic Zones (Appointment of Developers) Rules, 2020.

According to the notification, the eight-member committee is headed by the Member (Industrial Zone) of Invest Bangladesh Authority as Chairman.
