Dhaka, April 28 -- American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmCham) on Tuesday hosted a luncheon meeting in Dhaka titled "Advancing U.S.-Bangladesh Economic Partnership," bringing together policymakers, diplomats and business leaders.
Commerce Adviser Khandakar Abdul Muktadir attended the event as chief guest, while US Ambassador Brent T. Christensen joined as special guest. The programme was held at Sheraton Dhaka.
AmCham President Syed Ershad Ahmed, who presided over the event, highlighted the growth of bilateral trade and stressed the need to sustain cooperation amid global economic shifts.
