Dhaka, March 5 -- At least 50 international flights operating between Chattogram and several Middle Eastern destinations have been cancelled over the past six days amid the conflict in the region following the US-Israeli attack on Iran, according to the Shah Amanat International Airport authority.

A total of four outbound flights of Bangladesh Biman Airlines and Air Arabia were cancelled on Thursday morning, said Ibrahim Khalil, public relations officer of the airport.

He said that air traffic to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Doha in the Middle East were suspended amid the ongoing war, reports bdnews24.com.

In total, 50 outbound and incoming flights of various airlines have been cancelled from the airport in the past six days.
