Bangladesh, Sept. 8 -- Twenty students of Sher-e-Bangla Medical College in Barishal were injured when a bus carrying them fell into a roadside ditch on the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway in Daudkandi upazila of Cumilla district on Tuesday.

Advertisement The injured students were identified as Jaoat, Ferdous, Koushi, Miraj, Mursalin, Emon Mridha, Arif, Shafiqul Islam, Maliha Mehnaz, Raihan, Sajia, Taspia, Ariful Islam, Samiul, Rajarshi, Tasnim, Humayra, Mila, Nisa and Tanzina.

The accident occurred around 4:30 am in the Jinglatali area when the bus, carrying 40 students, fell into the roadside ditch after its driver lost control of the steering while heading to Cox's Bazar for an annual educational tour, said Assistant Sub-Inspector Nur Uddin...
