'Homegrown policies key to sustained economic growth'
Bangladesh, Aug. 3 -- Bangladesh should chart its economic future by designing policies that reflect its own development priorities rather than relying on externally prescribed reform agenda, economists and business leaders said at a policy dialogue in Dhaka on Sunday.

They argued that while international finance and technical expertise remain important, the country's long-term structural transformation will depend on preserving policy autonomy, strengthening domestic institutions and adapting global best practices to local realities.
