New Delhi, June 17 -- Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova launched a scathing attack on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Wednesday, accusing him of attempting to portray himself as the focal point of Western politics during the Group of Seven (G7) summit in France.

Speaking on Sputnik Radio, Zakharova said Zelensky's appearance at the annual gathering of leading Western economies was aimed at convincing allies that he remains indispensable to the Western political agenda despite mounting challenges on the battlefield and growing questions about long-term support for Kyiv.
