NEW YORK, July 23 -- Simon Williams has spent five issues trying to remember why he wanted to be a hero in the first place. Wonder Man #5, released Wednesday by Marvel Comics, gives him the confrontation he has been building toward and declines to tell him what to do with it.

The final issue of writer Gerry Duggan and artist Phil Noto's run arrives with Simon aboard a plane, forcing a reckoning with Matthew Walters, his former agent. Walters reveals that Rudolph Chancellor, a talent agent caught in the wreckage of Walters's disastrous NFT investment scheme, died by suicide after being exposed.
