Ukraine Sinks Rosatom Ship, Strikes Three Russian Oil Refineries in Single Day
New Delhi, Aug. 1 -- KYIV - Seventeen crew members were pulled from the Black Sea on Saturday after Ukrainian naval drones struck and sank the Yanina, a sanctioned Russian-flagged container ship with a capacity exceeding 100,000 metric tons. The ship went down roughly 130 nautical miles from Novorossiysk, in what Russia's state nuclear corporation Rosatom was left to publicly confirm as a complete loss.
