MOSCOW, July 12 -- Ukrainian drone strikes over the weekend left one person dead and five injured in the Lugansk People's Republic, officials said Sunday, as separate attacks on Russia's Belgorod Region killed one civilian and wounded three more. Russian forces, meanwhile, struck vessels at a Ukrainian Black Sea port using Geran-4 drones, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

In the Lugansk region, Governor Leonid Pasechnik said attacks targeted six municipalities over Saturday and Sunday. Air defense systems and mobile fire groups destroyed more than 40 aerial targets, he said; some drones broke through. One person was killed and another injured in the city of Lysychansk.
